Man, this is a lot of reflecting! So I went through my iPhoto and tried to pick out some of the best photos that reminded me of big events that happened throughout 2009. Some are running related and some aren’t. Enjoy! Also, you can click on the pictures and they will pop up. Hooray!

: DJ surprised me and came down for my 1st marathon!

: Met up with some great people before the San Diego Marathon in May!

: Met Ryan Hall after I ran the San Diego Marathon in May

: June 20th was the first day I ran after running the San Diego Marathon

: June was the month when my friend Nicole got married!

: DJ made this awesome 4th of July cake

: July 4th was a little party at mi casa

: We made vodka watermelon for the 4th of July

: Baby Koo turns 21 in July!

: July was another trip to the rodeo

: Then I flew up to San Francisco to run the San Francisco half marathon in July!

: Julianne was a pacer for the full!

: Aron and I ran the race together and for fun!

: I met my friend Ann and we ran the Angel Stadium 5k together in August

: In August a bunch of us girls went to Vegas for fun!

: September was the 2 day, 39.3 walk for Breast Cancer

: I did it in memory of my mom who passed away in 2006

: I made it through mile 8! :)

: Walked the 26.2 miles the first day with DJ

: Really was looking like a freak...

: Yup mile 17-26.2 were REALLY tough..

: We finally made it to the finish

: Day 2, miles 13.1 was much more fun because we had cute outfits!

: We also did the big red bus again for another friend's birthday in September

: Met up with my "big brother" in September as well!

: In October I turned 24!

: Went out for my birthday and had a blast :)

: Then ran the best marathon ever, the Long Beach marathon in 3:55:37 October 11, 2009

: Best day of my life happened October 11, 2009.

: Baby Koo surprised me and rode his bike by me in the Long Beach marathon for the last mile. <3

: Met my friend Chris at the Nike Human Race 10k

: Met Steve in a Speedo in November when he visited Long Beach!

: Ran a fun 10k with Sara and Kristen in Redondo Beach in November

: Got an article published in LA Sports and Fitness in November

: Before the malibu marathon in november

: Running in a tutu during the malibu marathon in november

: Had tons of fun with T and M at the Malibu Marathon

: Finished the Malibu Marathon in a TUTU in November

: Cheered for Jeff to finish the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving

: Cheered for my cousin to finish her first 10k! On Thanksgiving morning

: Driving up to CIM with friends for the marathon :)

: finished 3 marathons in three months to become a marathon maniac!

: Hung out with some great friends at CIM in December

: Froze to death during the California International Marathon

: Ate a lot in December. Fun times with friends after CIM

: Marathon Maniac 2033 and 2034!

: Had lots of fun with Family for christmas

: Saw how the grinch stole Christmas at the Pantages!

: Hung out with my brother for christmas :)

: Went swimming for a workout for the first time ever in December

: Went snowboarding for the first time ever in December

Snowboarding recap will be up on Monday and yes, I have videos of me eating crap. It was a BLAST and I loved it. I can’t wait to go again. I ran a 6 miler this morning without my garmin, it was nice to just run based on feel, it was even drizzling out. I iced my knee after and it’s feeling sub-par, but life goes on. I have no big new years plans, perhaps I will just enjoy a nice evening with my new teapot and my grad school applications. :) I am just not really feeling it this year, plus I know 2010 is just going to be so great so I don’t want to outshine it on the first day!

And I have pink eye. FAIL!

Oh Danica, I hate myself a little bit for saying it but I feel a little better knowing that some other adult has pink eye too! (on top of it I also have the flu and strep throat. it’s been a below average week) I totally thought little kids and their parents were the only ones to get pink eye. Don’t give it to your other eye like I did!!
