Kittens and Chickens

Sorry for being a whiny baby yesterday, I’m going to stop complaining because it’s a challenge that I didn’t think I could do, so it’s not suppose to be easy. Anyways, I love YouTube. Seriously, it’s great and there are so many ‘gems’ on there that I get sent. People are crazy and it’s even better when it’s captured on video. I thought in celebration of it being Friday and to keep my mind off my long run tomorrow I would post some hilarious videos that basically have nothing to do with anything. I’m not saying these are work friendly and two of them have cussing but don’t play them if you don’t want too.

Just listen to what the broadcaster says…. and watch the ladies face! Priceless! And where did that even come from?

Kittens inspired by Kittens is a CLASSIC. It’s so funny and I could watch it over and over. I seriously laugh more and more the more times I watch it. This little girl is a trip!

Also, it is discussed often but it never gets old. Please read my article about safety that I wrote for the Examiner HERE. If you are not safe on the run, your life is in jeopardy and there are so many things to remember to be safe while out running. If it rains tomorrow the long run must go on. I’m ready to do it and I HAVE to do it to get my confidence up for LA, which is also is in 16 days. It’s game time and I’ve got my long run face on. Let’s do this. Have a great weekend.

Good article. I wrote an article on running safety, too. This week just made the topic really important to remember — we have so many rural areas around here that I worry about people out there alone!

It’s so funny you posted that article, because (this may sound creepy) but I thought of you when I woke up and it was still dark and I was wondering if you ever get scared running/running in the dark.

A long run? Really this close to the LAMarathon….wow your tough….I did my last long run 2 weeks ago, a nice 18 miler…now my longest are 9 or 10 miles. Have a good run..

Just discovered your site and love it. I actually don’t like running! I do it because I it is the most challenging for me and the sense of accomplishment. I am training for my second half, doing the Country Music Half in April. I am working hard to beat my time and I am on track to do that. I hope your 20 miler was great and I will check back often. I was reading your reviews and am super psyched about the Nike hat/ipod thingie, I am totally looking for that! My coach ( I am running with Team in Training this year) hates music and maybe I could hide it this way!! hehe Good Luck !
