This is a sad story. I think it’s cool that people want to make a difference. I recently read Edward Abbey’s ‘Desert Solitaire’ where he wrote more about preventing incidents:

“The automobile, which began as a transportation convenience, has become a bloody tyrant (50,000 lives a year), and it is the responsibility of the park service, as well as that of everyone else concerned with preserving both wilderness and civilization, to begin a campaign of resistance.”

. . . which is a drastic look, but makes you think about not only driving but any risks taken while driving with distractions like texting, eating, day dreaming, etc.

I would love to bid for some of these products if I had some $$ because I think here story is truly exceptional.
I’m from Japan, so I know that the Ekiden is a HUGE deal. It’s different college running teams competing against each other, and some of the stories are very inspirational. I wish Jenny and her family all the best
