iFitness Belt Review!

So I’ve been teasing you guys ever since San Francisco to let you in on my newest favorite toy, the iFitness belt. Now, believe me when I say I’m a skeptic of most things and I believe that different things work for different people. I mean look at what happened with me and testing out gu… Yea, that didn’t go so well. I thought that since I was running a marathon I needed a fuel belt. I got my first fuel belt and though I do like the idea, the idea didn’t go so well with my body. Chafing all over the place from the bottle, and constantly having to pull the fuel belt down got on my last nerve. I also knew that for San Francisco I wanted something to carry my phone and ID and my camera. Though I already have my pouch that I attached to my fuel belt, I wasn’t sure if it would attach easily to the smaller belts I was looking at or if I would even like one of the smaller belts.

Well, to my surprised, I was shocked to see such a variety of belts at the San Francisco expo. I had heard some people talking on twitter about spibelts and iFitness belts and the differences earlier that day, and I pretty much had seen a spibelt and wanted something a little bit bigger so I wanted to see the iFitness belt before I made my final decision. When I got to the table I straight up asked the man working why I should choose iFitness over Spibelts. He told me that iFitness has a built in pocket and then proceeded to pull out 5 SMASHED gus out of the little baby pouch. I was in shock. I also really liked the small pocket in the back of the belt. The material of the belt looked nice and was really soft, which was another selling point. He showed me where to wear it and how to adjust it and I handed him 20 bucks and a new pink iFitness belt was mine. They come in so many colors it’s unreal, but obviously I had to get pink, come on people.

I was skeptical that I would like the belt when I was running the half marathon, but I was very wrong. Once I got everything situated on my belt, including the pouch and my phone in the proper place I really liked the belt. It wasn’t riding up, it stayed in place, and I didn’t have the whole world bouncing along on my hips. I was in shock the entire time that I NEVER had to pull it down. It was a little tricky to get my pouch to go on the right side of my body so it wasn’t wriggling around, but once I found the happy medium it worked out perfectly. I just sat everything on my butt basically. It was so nice, and since I wasn’t going to take water during the half, not having water with me wasn’t a big problem.

So now onto some of my classic jank photoshop pictures for your enjoyment and education.

sf11-copy

Here we have the booty shot, so just dismiss my butt and focus on the belt. On the left side we have the nathan pouch that I attached myself by clipping it on. If you don’t put it in the right “place” (it takes a few minutes to find where it won’t bounce) then it will bounce like it looks like it is in the picture. If it bounces it’s super annoying, so just fiddle around and make sure it works for you, you’ll find the ‘right place’ I promise. You can see right next to the little pink pouch, the adjustable strap. That is where you adjust the whole belt. For me it’s pretty tight, so it can fit tons of different people. Then on the right side, you have the small pouch. I carried my phone, my license and, I think some money and a credit card in there no problem. It’s really nice because the little pouch is super expandable and can hold a lot more than you think.

sf12

This picture is kind of pointless, but I just wanted to show you how the belt goes all the way around, this is basically the front part of the other picture. I put the little pouch on my back hip so it doesn’t hit me and bounce. Nice how it fits right on the little love handles right?!

sf13-copy

First off, this picture is legit because I look super thin! ha ha it’s because the camera in my hand is perfectly positioned. Bonus! Also, again, ignore the butt and the arrow basically pointing to my butt, I’m not the best with photoshop! Okay, back to my review. So this is the side view of the small pouch. The pouch is a neoprene like fabric and I really like the feel of it, along with the belt fabric. Both are really soft and I know that perhaps if I ever ventured off in a sports bra, that I would be able to wear it without chafing, which says a lot. The belt has a little clip where it clips together and it stays shut no problem. The zipper on the belt is a little hard to “get into” while your running, but this was a huge improvement for me since you can slide the belt around to make it easier for you to get into. The zipper and craftsmanship (did I just say that) really seemed to be done very well on the belt and I feel that it’s sturdy and will hold up for a long time.

sf14

This is a picture from the race with my friend Billy, and just shows you how big the small side pouch is and how it looks on someone. So onto another selling point, the small pocket inside the little pouch. This is pretty cool because when I take stuff out of the big pouch, it’s nice not to have to make sure my ID, money and whatever else I might be storing in there flopping all over the ground.

Overall, as you all can tell, I LOVE the iFitness belt. It’s also great when I want to carry my iPod when don’t want to have the arm band on. It allows me to take my phone on all my long runs and the ability to have my pouch attached allows me to take my pb and js as well. Perfect for me, perfect for my chafed back and perfect for my arms that were so tired of pulling that dang fuel belt down!

So in honor of this sweet product, I’m having another sweet giveaway…. I’m giving away my OLD FUEL BELT! Just kidding, wouldn’t that be funny?! HAHA! Sometimes I just crack myself up.

But I’m actually giving away an iFitness belt!!!! HOORAY! I know that anyone who runs and wants to schlep their crap with them will love one of these bad boys. Seriously, even if you see one at a expo, I think you should give it a try, or you can even visit their website and get one there. You won’t be disappointed. Also the even better part is… my iFitness belt doesn’t have this, but they came out with a new product with REFLECTORS on them and that will be the one that I will be giving away! Yippie! So that is even cooler than the one I have, if that is possible. So leave a comment with what you must take with you on your run, or what you would take with you. It could be funny or serious, whatever you want and the winner will be chosen next Wednesday, so you guys have a lot of time to be witty and enter! Want more entries? Link back from your blog for 3 entries instead of just one!

xoxo

PS if you didn’t enter the contest to win a $50 Gift Certificate to Living Rooms Direct, leave a comment on THIS POST! The winner will be announced tomorrow morning!

If I don’t win, I will probably buy one :) I’m constantly looking for something for my marathons – that won’t leave me with deep cuts in my sides after 26 miles! I carry lots of sports jelly beans, tissues and salt during races. I also try to remember my license. And because there has been one time I’ve had to go to the ER after a race, I thought it might be good to take my insurance card :) You never know when you’ll need it!

I’ve been looking for something like this that is made for runners. It would be nice to keep gu or a pb&j in during a long run. Plus ID, you never know when you might need it.

pb&j, id, credit card, insurance card, charlie card and a twenty. I like to be prepared :-) I’ve been wanting to try one of these. I hate running races with my fuel belt, but I need it – pb&j doesn’t squash down into my skirt pocket quite like a gu does.

It is so funny you just did this review, because I was going to buy a Spibelt this weekend to try out! I am running the Lake Tahoe Marathon next month for the 3rd time, and I just want to run it for fun and carry a camera for the first time.
And seriously, I think you and I have about the same level of patience for extra running gear, so your thumbs up means a lot! Hopefully I’ll win! I have to win, I never win anything in the blog giveaways! Sheesh! Hahaha! Have a great hump day! :)

Thanks for the great review!!! On my runs, I’d love to take my phone which I currently doesn’t fit in my fuelbelt. Do you think this one would fit an iPhone? I really need to check my email while running (just kidding!).

lol about all the booty attention. you know you pointed it out for a reason ;)

i have never tried a ‘belt’ before. i am sure it would be nice to have on a long run instead of stuffing things in random places! the reflector-detail sounds extra nice as the winter is again approaching and i won’t be able to run in the safe daylight :(

in addition to gu’s and money, i would def stuff some toilet paper in there in case of emergency!! :)

I love the idea of having a small belt to shelp my phone and gu without having to take water. I don’t always need it but feel that I should always have id with me and my phone if I’m going out solo.

MUST takes on a run for me:
iPhone!
Id
$5-$10
Health Insurance Card (sometimes when I’m feeling extra cautious)

I’d rather have your old fuel belt.

I kid, no thanks.

Must takes:
iPhone
Debt Card
ID
Health Insurance Card
Keys
Beans, gu, etc.

I have been wanting to invest in a nice belt type thing…I ran my first half without one and I really regret it…arm pocket in shirt doesn’t really work :) Besides the normal stuff…I would definitely need to include like 20 kleenex…my nose runs like crazy when I run and it usually just ends up on my sleeve…so this would save me some embarrassment…haha!

I saw this guy at the SF expo and now wish I would have bought it so maybe I will be lucky and win it! I have my phone and ID and my sport beans!!!

Hey Danica – I got news for you. You *are* thin!

This iFitness belt – it holds an iPhone no prob? I have a Nathan fuel belt and like it. Once it’s on, it doesn’t move and sits just in the right sopt on my body. But the pocket isn’t big enough for an iPhone plus Gus plus other stuff.

Oh and the secret with yeterday’s pics? I wasn’t worried about a PR or anything. Just out having fun. And the pics show it.

I always take my drivers license, insurance cards, credit card, my iphone and gus! I try to pack light so that I can fit it all in a small pouch in my capris. I wish I had something to carry things easier!

Thanks for the review, if I don’t win I might just buy one! I love the grey with the pink zipper, super cute!

Oh, I’ve been looking for a fuel belt, so winning one would be awesome!! I’d def take my phone, id, and some kleenex (i’m always sneezing!!)

I have to carry my phone with me in case the kids need to call with an emergency. They’ve never ever called (a good thing) but yet I still have to have it with just in case! would love to try the ifitness belt!

Oh wow I would love that! The one I have caused a nasty scar during my half marathon. I would bring with me my phone, shotbloks, and a Starbucks card for after the race….or during, i sometimes am very tempted to stop when i run past one :-)

I take my iphone with me on every run, and get this: I hold it in my hand while I run. I use it as my ipod as well as a GPS tracker (mapmyrun has a free app, since I can’t afford a Garmin).
I would love to be able to take some money and my chapstick with me, not to mention … mace! There are some down right crazy homeless NUTS in my town! But since I don’t have a belt … I just pray I can outrun the drunk ones and if all else fails, I’ll throw my iphone in the opposite direction and hope that they swarm towards it like fat boys to a Micky D combo meal.

My blackberry doesn’t fit in my fuel belt either. BOOOOOO to my fuel belt. I honestly DO like to check email on the run, why do you think I do a 9/1 pattern on long runs now? HAHAHAHA.

P.S. you better believe I am going to link back!!

TOILET PAPER! I have had my share of emergencies where the washroom had none OR, let’s be honest, when I had to squat in the bushes. I’d cram some good ol’ TP in there.

Must haves- chapstick, iphone, and id!

ooohhh! I really want one of these belts for my upcoming half! i need something to carry my shot blocks!

Here I always thought the girls selling these at the expos were full of it because they have flat tummies and probably haven’t run in their lives. So now that I hear that the pouch is legitimately awesome I WANT!
Obv I’d carry my phone and my gus, but I’d also see if I could fit my car Garmin in there since I haven’t been able to figure out how to understand Genki’s maps :)

[...] Danica (a very cool, fast, hott cali chick) is having an amazing giveaway! It is an iFitness belt, i have heard or spibelts but after her review I see how this would be better. Head over to her site to read the post and enter to win. [...]

Oooh, I want to win this! I do use a fuel belt and love it but I can’t fit enough stuff in the little pocket. PS You look super hawt and fit in your pics!

Oh fer cyin’ out loud, I carry SO much stuff with me – Phone Camera iPod (thankfully I got an iPhone a month ago, v. helpful in consolidating) Hammergels, Garmin, water, (ahem) toilet paper, money, ID, keys, and various bits of trash I pick up along the way. I may as well run with a friggin’ backpack, so to win an iFitness belt (or anything, really) would be awesome. (oh, and I WILL be linking back!)

Hmmm – ok I would take
the cell, so the family would worry less,
Gels for the longer runs
$$$ for the longest runs
Oh and maybe some Glide

It is about d@mn time you got around to reviewing this! Gees woman! Don’t tease us like this! Some of us rely on your expert opinions here!!!!

I have a spibelt and managed with it well enough but after a few runs sans the belt realized how much of a pain in the @ss it really is. Constantly pulling it down… having to basically pull it under my butt to keep in place… etc. I will def have to check this out… hopefully after winning it here! :)

I wanna win! Haha, its funny because in the last few days I’ve been to so many running stores looking for fuel belts and/or just stuff to put GUs and keys etc in. My problem, like the one you had I guess, is that fuel belts are too large but other pouches are too small.

Lets see if I win :)

Let’s see, I would carry my phone, my inhaler, pain killers and money.
I think that would sum it up!

Thanks for such a thorough review – love the ‘craftsmanship’ comment! ha!
I carry all the same old stuff everyone else carries, but I would love to be able to carry a small photo of my dad to remind me why I’m out there. With the neoprene pocket, I wouldn’t have to worry about it disintegrating from all my sweat!

I need to try this belt. I have a fuel belt and am hating it right now. I was nodding my head in agreement with you when you were getting irritated and distracted pulling down the belt. yeah, mine’s kept riding up too!!!! Grrr!!!! Thanks for the review!

Nice! I tried a fuel belt once too and found it way too annoying! I would love to carry my phone, keys, ipod, and fuel!

me me me me me!!!! I have a spibelt and if I put more than my phone in it, it sometimes makes me crazy :-/ I would LOVE to try this one!! I always bring my phone with me and my key so those would go in the pouch, and if this one could handle more I would add more :) haha like gu, etc. YAY!

Great giveaway! I take my keys, phone, and ipod. I would also take my camera if I was going somewhere worthy of pictures :)

I would LOVE to have one of these! My hydration belt pouch SUCKS. I can barely fit my blackberry in there and it’s full – I NEED a way to carry some fuel and I would like to start taking my debit card with me too!!

I hope I win :-) But I might just buy one of my own if I don’t!

Thanks for the give-a-way! I have a fuel belt, but the pocket is too small and I’ve just been really annoyed w/it lately. This belt looks great!

Things I always carry – phone, ipod, pepper spray, gu.

BTW, I linked to you on my blog.

I had to make an emergency purchase from the Expo in San Diego, in order to have a place to stash the ‘ole tampons for the marathon. This thing was FANTASTIC, as my primary objective was to not feel like I was wearing anything.
(If I am chosen, please select another reader, since I already have one. But I just couldn’t resist raving about it!)

a fuel belt that doesn’t bounce around like a mofo?! omg, sign me up! i’m running my first marathon in 3.5 weeks (WAHH!!) and i could reaaaally use a belt that’s big enough for 3 gu’s, my ID, and my old school fatty digi cam.

So glad you found something you like!!

I’ve been eyeing up this belt for a while, but haven’t yet caved. I’ve always wanted to take a camera with me on runs and during races, but could never tolerate standard belts or just holding it my hand.

And Mrs. Hibit…been there, done that.

This won’t fit in any fitness belt, but something I couldn’t run without… my new lungs! I received a dbl lung transplant a little over a year ago and started running shortly thereafter. Things I would put in the new belt…

Sunscreen (I live in Phoenix!)

ID (that says I’m an organ donor!! Donate life, peeps!)

iPod (get tired of wearing it on my arm!)

ps… Love your blog! I’m fairly new to running and enjoy reading how you train, etc. Also, do you wear the arm bands to prevent chafing? .. regardless.. super cute!

there are three things I absolutely need to take with me when i run my id, chapstick and my car and/or house key.

Very cool!!! If I don’t win this giveaway, I think I’ll definitely buy one of these!!!

I always carry my keys and I’d like to be able to carry my shotblox easier. This looks like it would help me out!

I could sooo use this. I haven’t found the right thing yet and my first marathon is next month! By the way, I love the pics!

I’m a stay-at-home mom of 3 during the day, so running for me is always at night. So I always want to bring my phone with me for safety, but it gets so annoying to have to keep it in my armband with my Ipod – too much weight. Also as winter approaches I’m concerned about running the trail near us at night and would like to be able to carry mace or the like for more safety!

I have never run with a belt and only with music once. I do carry a shoe tag that has emergency info on it. And a car key. Nothing do I carry. Unlike you, I am big around the middle and can’t afford that extra weight.

I’m sick of stashing my GUs in my bras, so the iFitness belt would be AWESOME. Plus it would be nice to take my phone on longer runs for safety purposes, or if I wanted to run a route that didn’t stop back at my place and wanted to call for a ride. :) AND I’ve always wanted to take photos on a run, but am too lazy to carry a camera the whole time. **I’m linking back to your giveaway on my blog tomorrow.** :)

I try to carry a picture of myself, by the off chance that someone decapitates me during my run, so they know which head belongs with my body… Or, I could just carry my keys!

sweet, i could finally bring my cell phone on my runs….i love that they have purple belts too…

If I had the belt I would carry my phone, ID, cash, and my garage door opener to get back into the house.

That belt is totally awesome! I will have to check out that website for sure! It looks awesome in the pictures!

I want to carry my camera and phone in San Francisco for the Nike Women’s Marathon. I may never get to go back there so would love lots of pictures.

I carry everything you could imagine on my runs. Gu, cell phone, ID, keys, emergency cash, water bottle. Yea I need a fuel better.

I live in Okinawa, Japan where it’s 100% humid all the time, so water is a MUST for me. I’ve been using a camelbak since I bought an amphipod belt and HATED it but I think I’ll switch to a handheld soon. Other than that, ipod, cell phone, and a couple hundred yen in case I need anything are musts for me. Oh, and gus on runs over 6 miles.

I would definitely take my phone with me (which i do not do now), my id, some gu chomps for added energy, and some pics of my kids (inspiration to keep going) :)

Oooh, I’d love this. And based on my post this weekend…I’d use it to carry toilet paper!

You have me sold! If i dont win, i’m buying one! My spibelt is a little bouncy and dosent hold as much. I wanna try one of these. Your awesome writing has me hooked. You should get paid to write these reviews. I’m totally re posting this on my blog!

On my run I take…
My blackberry
Shot blox
chapstick (not always)
pepperspray
ID
Money

Watch out bad guys, my pepperspray will get you! ha ha! From the sounds of it, i could shove all that in there with no bouncing! Wahooo!!!

Omigosh, how cute are you? Btw, I love those pictures of you at SFM. And dude, seriously, you should consider modeling. I’m not just saying this because I want to win the iFitness belt! And your site looks awesome!! I haven’t been here in weeks!!!

Oh yeah, I usually take my keys with me when I go run. Car or house… I really need this belt because I went out for a run a few months ago with my car key (just the alarm dongle thingie) in my pocket and it fell out… Didn’t even notice! I had to call a tow truck to get inside my car. So sad. See? I really need one of these!

I love to schlep these around when I run! :) If it’s a fun race, I need both my camera and my iPhone. I’m sure fuel should be in there, too, haha.

Great post, girl! I’ll add a link to my blog, too.

I like to carry my ID, a couple of bucks, and my cell phone. And gummy bears on really long runs!

I linked back to your giveaway from my blog!!! I also forgot to mention that I would carry GU, ID, chap stick, kleenex and my cell phone!

I would take my iTouch because I hate those stupid armbands! And an ID incase I was mauled by a raccoon and no one could tell who I was (I kid, I kid.. but do you watch Grey’s Anatomy? Yeah. Don’t want to end up like George).

I would carry my cell phone, GUs and some cash

SO rad! I am diggin’ that it has reflectors!
Ok, so I ran my first half last Thanksgiving. I didn’t have money for a pouch get up, so I safety pinned 4 GU’s to the inside waist band of my running tights. Dang. I had some cuts when that race was over!
I could def. use one of these. Thanks for the info and link!

In my fuel belt: ID, cash, list of mile markers, bloks, and phone.

Must haves: ID, phone, chapstick (man, I’m so addicted!), cash, sport beans/shot bloks, and keys!

Gel, Ipod, Camera…not hot pink please!

I always take my iPhone because it tracks my run and plays my tunes, sunglasses and mint gum (because I feel I can breathe easier). I tried taking my inhaler with me on a race two months ago, but it fell out of my tank top strap and some guy running next to me kicked it and it was gone. :( So perhaps I won’t have to waste another inhaler during a race! Oh, and I love the reflector idea because when I run at night and during the winter I wear this flashing blue light on my top. :) Yay!

I have a spibelt, & it looks like the same concept – I can tuck my phone, some $$, gel, & ID in there for my runs.

And I have to keep telling my hub that it’s NOT a fanny pack :D

I love it! I try to always take my phone and inhaler…then add to it the Gus and ID… It gets to be a little much!

In my ifitness Belt I would carry my blackberry with Pandora since I am Ipodless. I would throw in some gum because I have to chew on my runs. I would carry some cash for after race goodies. Oh, and my chapstick! whoohoo! What do you mean link back to my blog?
Well, here it is:
https://www.kbroome.blogspot.com

I linked back on my blog post today!!!

I haven’t ran long enough distances yet to need one of these belts. But I will be soon, so maybe I should invest in one.

What would I put in there? Definitely my keys since I use the old-fashioned way of hiding it under the welcome mat/car tire. I would also bring some of that cool gu stuff and my id. Not sure about my phone since i’m afraid it’ll weigh me down!

i’m prob too late to leave a comment? but i wanted to say you wear the belt so well! you make it look good :) the pink blends right in with your shirt i didn’t notice it originally.

Great review! Thanks for sharing. I’d never heard of this before and love that it has separate pockets.

What do I carry on my runs?
Phone – in case I fall and need help.
ID – in case I’m hit by a car and can’t call anyone since I’m unconcious therefore someone can see my ID.
Credit Card – in case I desperately need water or food somewhere along my run.
Pepper Spray – I love in Baltimore City! Enough said.
House Key – does this really need an explanation?

That’s quite a bit, isn’t it?

The belt looks awesome! I usually run with an ID, health insurance card and pepper spray. I think if I had a belt I’d carry a few dog treats for my little sheltie. She (begrudgingly) runs with me in the mornings :-)

I would LOVE an iFitness Belt! I’d use it to carry: phone, ID/credit card/insurance card (just in case!), keys and beans for the long runs.

[...] 27, 2009 in Uncategorized | Tags: gear, running Danica, over at Chic Runner is having a giveaway for a very cool-sounding iFitness Belt. I’ve often [...]

I take sports beans, keys, ID, cash, CTA card, iPod, and my cell.

Thanks for the review – I’m looking for a belt that will hold my phone, keys, Gu Blocks, and some water!

I think this is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I take my phone, ID, debit card, change, tissues, chapstick, gum, and house key. If I won this I’d also be able to carry my camera, which I have been dying to take with me in the mornings; I just don’t have anywhere to put it.

Even if I don’t win, I think I’m still going to buy one. I’ll link to my blog this afternoon! Thanks!

Hmm… I was going to try and be funny on this one.. but I’ve got nothing. Cubicle land is sucking my creativity!
I take CarbBoom gels (apple cinnamon flavour-UNREAL), water, a cell + ipod (would love to take my iPhone but it is toooo big for my belt!), gum, Advil, my health card, and some cash for coffee after the run with ma runnin’ posse! If I had more room, I would take salt tablets- I can’t stomach electrolytes in liquid form anymore. uugh.

Thanks for the heads up on this belt. I bought one awhile back when you first blogged about it. Its awesome how much I can fit in here and how I can forget it is even around my waist. Last night I tried it for the first time with my little iPod nano inside and it made a huge difference with my arm! It is nice not having to strap anything to my arms.

Keep the great ideas coming!!

omg, what *wouldn’t* I put in there?

key, salt tablets, toilet paper, gels, mini sample size of anti chaffing lotion.

Great review, I’ll def have to check that out. I love my pink (natch) Spibelt, for for longer runs it doesn’t hold all I need. You know, my iPhone wrapped in a baggie, my key, 2 packages of strawberry Clif Shot Bloks, money, kleenex, chapstick. It’s like I’m camping!

Your photoshop skills crack me up!

For my long runs I bring:
Car key!
ID
crackberry
jelly beans
chap stick

Thanks :)

That belt looks awesome! I’ve been looking at belts too since I started carrying gels, cell phone, keys, and money on my long runs.

I hope I win this, but if I don’t, I will probably buy one. If I had one, I would take my cell phone, keys, ID, money, and sport beans with me. I would like to have my “stuff” with me!

I would def take my blackberry. I need to start taking pictures of the hysterical things I see when I run. I also have as many keys as a school janitor so the belt would be perfecto for those!!

Ooo, this would totally solve my problems with carrying all my stuff while I run…AND I won’t have to stash chapstick in my sports bra anymore! I would also put Gu, car key, phone and iPod in my belt! And maybe my puppy since apparently this belt is magical and can hold EVERYTHING!

After dying on my long run today, I would use the belt to stash adequate amounts of bloks for a run.

I have a spibelt but it is so floppy and doesn’t have any form so it makes it hard to take things out and put them back in while running (and everything tends to fall out at once). Plus, I run with a handheld water bottle which further compounds the situation. I think the iFitness would be much easier to get things in and out quickly.

I linked your giveaway in my blog, too!

The old Who song says it all… “I want it I want it I want it…” Thank you so much for reviewing the belt. I don’t have a lot of expendable income, so I like to have a “heads up” before I pull the trigger. I would carry: tissues (I thought I was the only one with runny nose issues until I read all your comments!), electrolyte tabs, jelly bellys, ID, and some cash. No phone, you may ask? Nope. No phone. I’m probably the one American in existence who doesn’t use one. Sad, eh?

I just bought a little Wrist Wallet from Solutions. I think the brand is Sprigs. It holds my id, keys and cash. Other than that I have to have my Garmin and my iPod when I run. That iFitness belt looks sweet! I’d love to have one to carry my camera like you said for my upcoming half marathon! Have a great weekend!

Good luck on your 20 miler!!! I had an 18 this weekend but due to a weekend full of moving I’ll be postponing it till next! And yes that iFitness belt would be fantastic, I’ve always wanted to take pictures along my runs like you do, but need a place to store my camera and skittles :)

Right now I carry my phone and my keys on my runs. This little item would be awesome!

I recently got into running. I have logged in about 100 miles so far which I am very pretty of. The belt looks awesome. I seriously need a little something, so I can carry all my stuff with me like ID, phone, iPod, keys.

this looks so great! it would be perfect for my training for the newport marathon october 18!

I’ve been thinking of getting a fuel belt but not so excited now if I’m going to get chaffed, no fun! I would carry my ipod, keys and id with me!! Great giveaway!

Pick me! Pick me! I’m linking back to your giveaway as well. :) Looks awesome. I could totally use this for carrying my junk.

OOO I love that one!! If I don’t win, I’ll probably get one since I was just talking to my hubby about needing one. It’ll be nice to have my hands free of my ipod and cell phone when I’m running :D

I always carry a mini water bottle with me but I need to start carrying my id and a phone

Although I run with a Camelbak so I can have enough water to hydrate during my long runs in super hot and humid Florida I can’t easily access the zippered pockets that are on the back without taking the whole thing off. I’m going to be running the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Fran this October and have been looking for something to put my camera in so I can bring it along during the run. This looks perfect!

Nice butt, I mean BELT. Nice belt. :)- And P.S. You ARE super thin! :)-

I would love to take my camera with me, and this would be perfect for that! :) Also, my ID and some money wouldn’t be bad to have on hand either. Thanks for the great giveaway (and review).

I would bring my phone, Cliff Shots, and TP!! No doubt about it :)

The belt sounds perfect – can’t wait to get one.

my phone and my car key :) Oh and could I fit a maybe a cute guy that is willing to carry me around and across the finish line?? lol

IF I don’t win I’m probably buying one – I hate my current belt cuz it has these annoying straps that flop all in my way! raarr.. ah well, in my (dream) belt i’d carry my phone, credit card, sport beans, and metrocard for the just-in-case moments when the legs don’t wanna go anymore..(gotta love the NYC subway system!)

This would come in handy for all my gus, cell phone and my house key. It looks so comfortable!

my Garmin!!! must have!

Looks cool, I always have my iPhone with me and use GPS to track my runs. need someway to carry it. I’m not to fond of the armbands..

I have an iFitness belt I love it, but do you know what I would love more?

Two iFitness Belts! One to wash and one to wear!

I would have a place for my keys, cellphone,gum & $5 thanks

I would take my iPhone, keys, and my ID card so I won’t have to keep it in my socks anymore. SWEET!

since the husband is overseas, and since I don’t have family near by, I NEED to run with a photo ID, phone number with ICE number (country roads have no shoulders), and of course some GUs. If only they would get me past mile 15…

On a run I neeeed my Ipod and a stick of gum!
But it would be nice to have something to carry a cell phone in, incase of emergency!

This sounds super awesome. I got a SpiBelt at the expo, but am not super sold on it (it rides up and likes to snuggle the sausagetube in an unappealing way.)

Things I have to take on a run:

- Gu or Shot Bloks (I hate the Shot Bloks, but my boyfriend bought mountains of them, so I am trying to use them up.)
- An extra minitube of sunscreen- I notice that I wipe my face whne I get sweaty and wonder if this is why I am getting some sunspots and whatnot on my cheeks. Trying to reapply halfway through.
- Sometimes a little bit of water if I am using the ShotBlocks and won’t be near a fountain
- I really should bring my cellphone. Really, I promise to if I win.
- A snotrag.

PICK SMURF!

What would I jam in my iFitness belt? Let’s see…

A crap-load-o-crap, including:

Chapstick
Gu
iPhone
House Key
A little leprechaun to yell at me to run faster.

Yup. That’s about it.

I take gu- espresso and vanilla bean. Both with caffeine. I should take some vitamin I!

I typically don’t take much with me on my training runs, but probably should… so my phone would be first, and a credit card and home keys; and maybe a RoadID ID plate… hmmm… the iFitness belt may work well for that…

Very cool! I’d take a cell phone, cash, and gu.

I’m still skeptical about the belts but willing to try. That way I don’t have to keep circling my car like a vulture on my long runs – no fun!

I would take cell phone, Gu, cash, keys, maybe sunscreen (I’m a redhead!)

I’d love to try one!

Oops, forgot to say what I’d put in it. DEFINITELY my cell for dark and lonely morning runs!

woot! i’d shove a camera, id & money, and my keys. (yeah i’m boring like that…) :\

This would fix my number one issue with running: where to keep ID! I worry that when I run outside away from home that if there is an accident, no one will know who to contact. So I would keep all my ID info in here. Along with a couple of dollars for a treat when I make my way down to the convenience store! And a poo bag for when the dog tags along!
