Chocolate Coffee Smoothie

Lately, after my morning run I have been making smoothies and I love how easy they are and also how filling they are. Add in some protein for recovery and I’m set to go for the morning. They are easy to make and especially with these new chobani bites I’ve found, they are even easier to make.

Post workout chocolate coffee smoothie

This has been one of my new favorites. Since I drink a ton of coffee, this gives me that yummy coffee taste and keeps me full. For the ice, put in as much as you would like. I like it pretty cold, so I put in about half a cup. If you don’t workout before drinking it, just omit the protein and it’s great in the mornings. With marathon training in full swing I feel like I am eating everything in my path, which I don’t want to be! Even if I’m out of milk I will put in unsweetened almond milk instead, and it tastes just as good.
