Dog Days of Summer Playlist

It’s hot out, the miles are getting longer for those training for a fall race and it’s time for a new music playlist! Here are just a few of the songs that have recently been downloaded and added to my running mix… Just click play and you’ll hear all the songs in a row!

Some of the music videos on this playlist are REALLY weird, so I’m warning you now. And some of them are super teeny bopper, but hey… who doesn’t like some Miley Cyrus? I have been listening to the playlist at work and loving it too! It gets me excited for my next run.

40 minutes of the perfect Summer Workout Music to make those hot training runs more fun!

I’ll hopefully have a new fall playlist soon as well, but these are some of my new favorites that have been making the summer training runs go by quickly! It’s easy to run and workout when you’re music is motivating and pumps you up!

I literally cannot stop listening to Wake Me Up.

    Its amazing!

  2. I may or may not have bought that Miley Cyrus song as soon as I heard that it was out. Oh, well, that’s probably because, after all, I was still young enough to be a hardcore Hannah Montana fan back then… :D
The rest of your playlist sounds really good, as well! It’s been a while since I downloaded new music, so this comes at the perfect time :D

Thank you for these recommendations! I’ll need to check them out! I’ve been obsessed with Royal Concept’s “on our way” and Act As If’s “oh my my” in case you need some more fun run tunes!

  4. We definitely have similar tastes in music! I don’t like admitting what I listen to, but sometimes that just what it takes to keep me going on a run! I love songs I can sing along to. I subscribe to google music so I can change up my playlists which is nice. Some of my favorites lately are “shawty got moves” by Get Cool, “Thank you” by MKTO, “Alive” by Kruwella, and many of the songs off the new Fall Out Boy album.

I LOVE that “Hello” song! I’ve had it on my running playlist for awhile now too.

I love this workout playlist! Jessie J. and Miley Cyrus are my favorites. Thanks for sharing! :-D
