Headbands of Hope Giveaway!

I’m super excited to host a Headbands of Hope Giveaway! I have started running in all different kinds of headbands and I love how they keep the hair out of my face because I have a ton of flyaways. I honestly don’t know what took me so long to try them out, but now I love them.

I recently was contacted by Headbands of Hope about their headbands and cause, and I love what they stand for. Jess, the founder of Headbands of Hope, started the organization to give back to those girls who are affected by cancer. For every headband purchased, one is given to a girl with Cancer and one is donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help fund childhood cancer research.

According to the Headbands of Hope website, childhood cancer takes the lives of more children in the U.S. than any other disease – in fact, more than many other childhood diseases combined. Children cannot be treated the same as adults because cancer strikes kids differently. Jess said that progress cannot be made without research, research can’t be done without funding, and funding can’t be done without awareness.

I think this cause is amazing, and what Headbands of Hope is doing for the young girls battling cancer and to help raise awareness is incredible.

There will be 2 winners – One will receive a Chevron Headband and the other winner will receive a Glitter Headband. In order to enter, leave a quote that inspires you as a comment. For another entry, tweet about the contest as well! Make sure you include @HeadbandsofHope and @chicrunner so I know that you tweeted and can count your entry. I will be announcing the winner next Friday, Good luck!

xoxo

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.
