Weekend Planning

This weekend we have to attend a baby shower and I have a 7 miler to run and then going to visit a friend who just had her baby! Lots of babies lately and the month of October, we have 3 weddings back to back. I cannot lie, I’m excited about each of them, even though our weekends will be PACKED! Anyways, back to running. 7 miles. I haven’t run that far since back in Marchish-Aprilish when I was kind of training (?) for nothing in particular. I also injured my IT band pretty severely which hindered me in running for a long period of time. Well this will NOT happen this time as I have been stretching, doing strength training and foam rolling A TON, in prevention, which seems to be working thus far. Alas, we shall see how tomorrows 7 miler goes in the morning.

I cannot tell a lie, I do miss some of the WEIRD emails that I used to get at work. I thought about that yesterday. Made me laugh. I guess I still get some funny random emails at my new job, but I’m pretty sure nothing compares to crazy Type A runners, who haven’t ever heard of google? Alas, I might be that crazy person come Oct 7 when I run the race too.. who knows ;) Well I’m going to go do this…

I start my new job on Monday and I will NOT miss the crazy calls that I get when SOMEHOW a customer finds their way to my desk phone. Um, crazy!!

  2. This is going to sound SUPER weird – but where did you get that picture!??!?! I would be willing to put down serious money that the guy in the picture is the ex-BF I dated for 8 1/2 years!!!

Hope the 7 miler was great. I did 15 today and my right shin starting acting up. I hope you are settling in nicely at your new job.

I did a workout from your new employers yesterday that I found on Livestrong.com. Those ladies know what they are doing – I’m sore in all the right places!
