Running, working out, starting new, oh my!

There is SO much going on this week it seems. I love being a busy bee but I am so overwhelmed in a great way at my new job. There is a ton to do and new things to focus on and it’s a lot of fun. I’ve gotten up every morning this week and did a few work outs. I walked with George on Monday and ran with him on  Tuesday and this morning I did a HIIT workout in the backyard. I’m going to go for my training run after work this afternoon to let traffic die down before making the trip home. That’s something that will take some getting used to, driving to Hermosa Beach for work.

George usually gives me this look when I wake up and he realizes we are going to go for a walk. :) He always gets his way when he does this!

Doing a HIIT workout is new to me, but I am figuring out I need to do some intensity training and not only run or I will be injured before I know it. Hopefully tonight’s run will go well! I also have a new addiction, Chocolate Zico with a little dash of Perfect Fit Protein. It is SO good and I can’t get enough. I don’t really enjoy ‘natural’ coconut water, and haven’t tried Chocolate but when I did, I was impressed! Hopefully it will help the lactic acid in my legs after running as well.
