Trop50 Juice with Tea Review

A while back I wrote about Trop50, which has since become a staple in our refrigerator. B is OBSESSED, and I must say, I do like it as well. It’s a great summer juice beverage and goes well with grilled peaches and ice cream, dinner, and lunch. B pretty much can drink a container a day, but lately he’s been working hard to limit it to a glass a day. Thankfully. He gets obsessed with things, like chips, and then it’s all he eats. Lately, it’s juices, pistachios, and pretzels.

So when Tropicana contacted me again to try out another new juice beverage, I knew he would be over the moon to try it out. It’s Trop50 with Tea, which adds quite a different and unique taste. I’m not a huge iced tea drinker, but I love me some hot tea so I was interested to try out these new flavors as well. Of course when I got the coupons, B made me go to the store immediately to get a bottle. I traveled home with it and to our delight, we loved it! It’s a little different than regular juice and the tea taste makes it feel even more summery to myself. Here’s a little bit more about the Juice from the website:

  • Trop50 Juice with Tea is a new line of juice beverages that offers fruit juice goodness with 50 percent fewer calories, now with tea!
  • ┬áThese refreshingly different juice with tea combinations are made with delicious fruit juices and white and green teas to deliver a great-tasting and nutritious juice beverage.
  • Found in the chilled aisle, the line includes Trop50 Peach with White Tea, Trop50 Raspberry with Green Tea, and Trop50 Pear Lychee with White Tea. ( I have only tried the Raspberry with Green Tea and Peach with White Tea)
  • With 35-40 calories in each 8-ounce glass, they provide a full day’s supply of vitamin C and good source of antioxidant vitamin E.

I always remember my mom making iced tea on the back wall of our backyard in the summer, and this juice beverage is a fun mixture of juice and a hint of tea. We’ve tried it in smoothies as well and it’s excellent! I’ve been pretty impressed with the Trop50 line thus far and this was another great addition that I’m sure has a new home in our fridge.

So Trop50 asked me to blog about what makes me refreshingly different. I had to think about this one for a while. I don’t want to sound like a complete tool, but I guess the only thing that I can think of that resonates with me is my honesty. I’ve been told numerous times that I’m brutally honest and people value my opinion because of that. Sometimes it gets me in trouble because sometimes the truth hurts, but I guess I believe that honestly is the best policy. I remember growing up, my cousins would have me come over to help them clean out their closets because I would tell them that they DIDN’T need certain things. Sometimes being honest with B is hard, but I know that in the long run, telling him what is bothering me is better than letting it bottle up and then exploding. I’ve learned that honesty can get you a lot of places but can also hurt some people, so I need to be careful and cautious about being too honest. I guess that’s all I could come up with that I haven’t already shared on the blog thus far.

So that was pretty deep for a juice review right? Alas, try the new flavors, you won’t be disappointed. The fact that it has 35-40 calories per serving? Makes tracking it pretty easy for me! :) If you’d like to locate it near you, they also have a page on their website.

This morning I was suppose to run and I overslept. So alas, when I get home, I’ve got a 3 miler on my plate.

xoxo

*Trop50 sent me three coupons for free Trop50 juice beverages with Tea. These are my own opinions and I do seriously love the stuff and have continued to buy it once the coupons ran out.

Your honesty IS refereshingly different! I think your most remarkable trait, however, is your inner strength. You have survived unthinkable loss and heartache but you haven’t let it defeat or define you. Instead, you have pushed through and have experienced even greater joy.

And about the trop50… you know what a sucker I am for a Danica endorsement! Heading to the store now!
