Revvvvvving it up!

It’s that time of year, where work nightmares start to commence and days start to fly by at work. Literally, Tuesday when I came into work I was here for 8 hours and it seriously only felt like 20 minutes. When I was driving home I was so confused where the day went.

My inbox is full of random questions, rollover requests (past the deadline mind you) and people wondering what the on course drink is, mountain blast power aide if you were wondering.

It’s definitely event season and the pace sure has picked up a lot! It’s exciting and fun and draining all at the same time. Besides spin class and yoga on Tuesday I went for a run this morning and haven’t had much time to do much else in the home front of working out. My hamstrings are still sore from spin on Tuesday and my back was really sore from yoga too. Nothing like a little soreness to make sure that you know your working out. That might be my most favorite feeling in the world.

Even though work is kicking my butt right now, it’s okay because I expected it. Once LB is over, it will be much more relaxed… well a little bit. I think we all just kind of hang on by a thread until January and then breathe a sigh of relief. Nothing like putting on an event that looks like this…

Tomorrow I am going for my longest run in a while. I am going to try to attempt 6 miles. I hope to get it done in about an hour and well see how it goes. The weather should cooperate for running this weekend as it’s nice and cloudy and getting cooler in these parts! Hooray!

Here’s to a good weekend with a long run! Gotta start training for that half.
