Challenge Update

The 40 day Challenge is almost over! I can’t believe it and I’m still on board and working out hard! I know I have some extra motivation (aka my wedding in 29 days) but I am feeling really good and loving all the new stuff I am implementing in my workout routine.

Tuesday I traveled back to warmish yoga and actually loved it! It was a faster paced class and I drank a ton of water and it was awesome. I was pretty much as wet as jumping into a pool afterward though. Then it was a run to the gym and work out for an hour before a run back home. Kicking off the week is nice because I feel like you start off on the right foot.

Wednesday was another pilates session and I thought my legs were going to fall off! So many pulses and different movements that I am totally not used to doing, but it really is an interesting workout and you can instantly feel the burn on the reformer. I hit up the gym for about an hour after work that evening too and did another great workout on the arms.

Thursday was another yoga day and it wasn’t the hot one and I realized that I actually really like the hot yoga class now! I feel like if I’m going to work and sweat, lets go all out! My back was feeling rather sore after yesterdays class though.

Even though I was really tired this morning, I dragged myself out of bed and went to the gym. I really didn’t want to today for the first time in a while. Once I got there I did a quick 6 miler on the bike and then hit up the weights and finished on the stair stepper. Though I was only there for a little over an hour, it wasn’t like the great workouts I’ve been having. I’m still glad I did it though and on our lunch break today we are going to go to pilates which I do enjoy so that should be fun.

Tomorrow I am looking forward to a 6 mile run and then a gym workout. Sunday will be more of the same. I really enjoy working out on the weekends because I feel like I have so much more time and I can take my time doing my workout instead of rushing off to work. I know these upcoming weekends are going to be packed of fun, exciting things and I’m so looking forward to them! B is back to work this weekend but tomorrow we are going to do a lot of little errands.

I can’t believe next week is already JULY! I am going to work really hard for these next four weeks and yes I am still missing my fast food :( haha.

    OMG, your workout schedule is soooo AWESOME! I work from home and can barely squeeze in 2/3rds what you have been doing. Keep it up!!!

    I also have major problems with my left and right. If your in the car giving me directions and tell me to go left, I will almost always instinctivly go right. What’s that all about?!
