LB tshirts!

So I’m in love with our participants shirts this year for the Long Beach International City Bank Marathon. Love, love, love them.

I’m working really hard to make sure that the shirts are awesome and runner friendly and I hope to have accomplished that with these shirts. They are from a company called Greenlight Apparel and we are excited to have them on board this year.

Here’s the woman’s shirt! It’s a light grey with blue side panels. The blue is actually a tad darker than this. The shirt design has a lot of the iconic things that represent ‘Long Beach’. Including the Pike bridge, Cal State Long Beach Pyramid, and the Lighthouse in the harbor area.

Here’s the mens shirt. It’s a little bit darker grey and the sides are going to be the darker blue as well.

I don’t know why but I just love them so much. I love the grey and the side colors and the whole design just looks so good and represents a lot of parts of the ‘race’ that you run by. So this is what has been taking up all my time. We revealed them on facebook last week and everyone seemed to love them. They look like awesome and different shirts so we hope all participants love them too.

xoxo

dang, I wish I was running LB this year! Finally a non-white race shirt. You’re killing me! :)

They’re awesome! Nice job.

I was going to say the same thing… finally a non-white race shirt, and it looks awesome! Wish I could run it this year but we have a wedding to go to that weekend. :-(

i cant wait to have my very own!!!!! :)

You know I love Greenlight :) They are some of the best people I know. They did the shirt for the Marin Marathon, and its awesome. I rarely reuse a race shirt, but that one I use it often. Glad you like them!

When I first saw the grey on fb, I was like, “eh.” But now I am REALLY starting to like them. I hardly ever wear white race shirts, especially the short sleeve ones. I am waiting for someone to give away a long sleeved non-white shirt!

I’m getting excited to run this race. Maybe I should actually sign up. LOL.

LOVE the shirts! can’t wait to get mine :)

The 2010 shirt looks really good! I am still wearing the 2008 and 2009 marathon shirt to the gym. They are light enough to run in on the treadmill.

That’s an awesome design!! I wish I was running it tooooooo!

Very nice, I hope the women’s will be long enough and narrow enough. Heck just having different shirts for men and women is a race breakthrough!…if only the race wasn’t a week before the RnR in LA!

Well I like them!

So, I wish I would have seen them on FB. Here’s my thing…giant logos on the front of t-shirts = :(
Concert Ts, Sports Champion Ts, Race Ts. Ugh. Big logos and words belong on the back. When they’re on the front they say “HEY WORLD! LOOK WHAT I DID/CHEER FOR/WENT TO!!!!” Yes, they say it in all CAPS. I literally do not wear race shirts because of this so they’re wasted on me. My goal is to come up with a design that catches on. Maybe front left subtle, sleeve subtle, and big logo and sponsors on back (or not at all since they go on SWAG bags).
So, recap: Love your design, wish it was on the back.

These are awesome! Wish I could travel for a race!

Gray…hmm!

Not that I have any better ideas though!

so excited for the race shirts!!!!! cant wait to see the medals too!!! :)

I am running the half and was excited when I saw the design on FB last week. I haven’t yet received a gender-specific shirt from a race so that in-and- of-itself is very cool.

Love the color, design, pictures….but where’s the beach?? For having iconic things that represent LB, I’m wondering where’s the beach part?
Other than that, love it, and love that it isn’t white!

Nice job, D! I can’t wait to see them in real life (P.S. I might still be coming…yay!)

I’m bummed that Long Beach and SF Nike are the same day! :( I guess I’ll have to wait until next year to run Long Beach!

I like them! Can’t wait for this, AND my Cali Dreamin series jacket…
