December is upon us and that means 5 more days until CIM. 5 more days till I can SLEEP! I am so shocked that it’s already December though. Where did this year go? I can’t wait to do a year recap post, or goals for next year. My mind is already spinning!
So I feel like a complete tool for posting this, but I was featured in a magazine, Los Angeles Sports and Fitness about my blog this month. I’ve had some requests to read the article and see it close up so with a little help from some technical people, your wish is my command. :)
This morning I got up early and went for a three mile run. Still very tired, but seeing the movie The Blind Side last night didn’t help. It was such a great movie though and I’m really glad I went to see it. Sandra Bullock is amazing in it and the story is obviously really great. I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would, usually I’m a waterfall in ANY movie, so I though this one would get the tears going, but I did cry at the end. I really recommend it.
It’s so weird how last month I could easily run 6-8 miles before work anytime and now I’m really struggling with the shorter distances. I’m not really even in taper since I haven’t really even been in training. Using Malibu as a long run between CIM and Long Beach was a good idea, but man, that course really beat up my body. Well I guess running three marathons in three months is pretty much going to beat you up. I can’t even imagine how some people do more than three in three months, or run one every weekend. That’s so insane.
So before I leave for CIM on Friday night, I have a giveaway and also a goals post! The goals are basically not to die. Come on legs, start feeling better. PLEASE.
