So you all know I’m pretty much obsessed with Taco Bell. I love that place like I love the Long Beach Marathon. Unhealthy? Yes. Delicious? Yes. I know, I know, I’m not the epitome of health food, but what are you going to do about it. Anyways, I’m sure, unless you’ve been living under a rock, that you’ve seen the new Black Taco commercials. Since I have the humor of a 12 year old boy I personally think these commercials are hilarious! Everytime I see one, I die laughing. I mean, to be honest, I laugh at way too many things, but still… these are classic.
So in all my creativity, I realized, I could make a black taco commercial just for runners! Now, I don’t have as many black things as Taco Bell… but, for some reason this is hysterical to me. Now, say the following in a deep, weird voice!
Black Booty Shorts
Black Long Sleeve Running T-shirt
Black Recovery Socks
Black Toenail
Black Sports Bra
BLACK TACO
This may be only slightly hysterical to me. But if you saw me laughing right now, I can’t stop.
Tonight I’m running a 5k at midnight at USC for the Nike Human Race. I’ll be sure to bring my gun and taser…… Should be fun though and I’m looking forward to it. For some reason I have the sniffles again this morning so hopefully I don’t cough up a lung tonight at the race. Also, to keep me awake before the race, I’m going to work more on my costume! I can’t wait until it’s done! Then, I have a nice 15 miler planned to get done at some point this weekend, pending how I feel after the race tonight. Should be a good, relaxing weekend! Only 22 days until Malibu! I’ve completely lost my mind.

I haven’t had Taco Bell in almost four years! Actually, I haven’t had ANY fast food in almost four years, but these commercials make me want that damn black taco like nobody’s business! Taco Bell was always my fav!

Those black taco commercials kill me. Glad you see the humor in them too. My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas is the Pink Taco. I laugh at that one too. Even have a tshirt.

Wow, I have the same toenail problem currently. I hope it gets better. I was shocked to see you posted a photo of it. I would die if anyone saw mine. My entire closet is full of black clothes. I can’t match very well so black is my answer to that. Stay strong with the training!

anyone who eats the black taco, there is pretty much something wrong with them or they just haven’t really developed their frontal lobe yet. I have been seeing these commercials 10 times a game during. it is really the most asinine marketing campaign I’ve ever seen. nobody else but a 12 year old boy (OK, you did) would order that!

Late to the party but, they were giving Black Jacks away in Detroit this weekend. Those things are terrible. I actually thought I had some bad dressing/sauce on mine. Daughter said they all taste like that. Black Jacks will be short lived.
